Since the theme for my 2003 Duramax turned out to be black on blue, I decided to go with the black billet cover. The chrome, or stainless fasteners gives a nice contrast to the black vice just having an all-stainless billet cover. Removing the stock cover was the hard part but installation was fairly easy. I also opted for the clean look of the non-locking billet cover vice the locking type. The push-spring actuated cover opening mechanism is pretty cool too. To make sure the diesel gas gremlins don't help themselves to my expensive diesel fuel, I installed a diesel "green" Stanton locking gas cap also purchased on AMAZON.com.
