I bought these at the dealer over one of the similarly priced A-stars models because I thought the knuckle protectors on this glove were superior. Fast forward to an accident when a baby deer jumped out of nowhere and collided with my front tire, causing me to slide maybe 40-60 feet down the highway. The knobby knuckles on the right hand were worn flat, and the cushioned leather pad at the back of the wrist protected me from the force of hitting the ground.
