I bought this after seeing what I believed to be a similar chair that my friend had purchased - she loved hers...me, not so much. It's fine if you only lay on your back (much like any other and much cheaper beach chair). However, the footrest actually digs into your shins while laying on your stomach - at least it does mine and I am only 5-6". I thought the footrest extended but it doesn't. I tried laying the footrest down and my knees hang off so have to bend my legs and then their weight rests solely on my thighs where the end of the seat is. To make a long story short, my friend's chair is full length, still by Ostrich and she still loves hers - said it cost her less than half of what mine costs however. I would not purchase this particular chair, unless you are very short!
