Installation went without a hitch (pun intended). Here are some observations:
It was shipped without packaging and so had some scratches and bangs in the finish. Hardware and instructions were in a plastic bag tightly taped to the frame with an abundance of electrical tape that was not easy to remove.
Instructions say to lower the exhaust pipe. Fortunately that was not necessary. It was easy to position the hitch above the exhaust pipe without lowering it which would have been challenging to do.
It is necessary to remove the plastic cover that protects the underbody of the car from road stuff. The instructions say to return the cover to the customer. A better thing, which, I did, was to modify the cover and reinstall most of it. The cover consists of 3 parts: a large central section and two "wings". The wings extend the center section on each side to protect the taillight area. Each wing is pop-riveted to the center section with 4 rivets. It is easy to drill those out and remove the wings. Then cut a notch in the rear of the center section to make room for the hitch's tongue. Now reinstall the center section with the original 3 nuts and some of the original plastic fasteners. That protects most of the area exposed by removing the cover. It would take considerable effort to modify the wings to fit so I left them out.
Overall I was very pleased with the fit and ease of installation of the hitch. It looks strong and well made. I will use it to mount a bike rack.
