Denso 197-6110 Mass Air Flow Sensor Review

I spent considerable amount of time reading about problems with this sensor. The symptoms on the 2008 Highlander will be VSC light is on. I have read suggested solutions from tighting the gas cap to checking the hoses around the air sensor. Yes, check the hoses. I also read to reset the code, disconnect the battery for a few minutes. I had my code reset twice, once from the dealer, the other with a universal reader from Harbor Freight. All of these suggestions are temporary. The dealer wanted 350- $500 to replace the sensor. I found this sensor on Amazon for under $100. All I can say after a month, is none of the 5 warning lights on my dash are on. I didn't even have to reset the code. The sensor installs with a phillups screwdriver, and bingo it clears the warning lights. Don't read all the rubbish online about the sensors. Buy one install it and your problems will go away. Good product. well if it was that good the first one wouldnt have gone bad, right?
