It is a hitch install...so yes, an extra pair of hands is nice. There are instructions for drilling a hole and then enlarging it to allow reverse fishing of the hardware. This isn't needed. Just drill the right size hole...the mounting area is open to the drivers side...run the fish wire thru that and no enlarging needed. Discovered this AFTER I enlarged it. Toughest part was figuring out how to remove the plastic retainer pins for the plastic parts to allow easy drilling. Nice hitch, well made. EDIT: I've installed two of these. Neither of them shipping with the ball mount as the description would suggest it should. Of course, as always, Amazon customer service did a great job of taking care of the issue. I suspect the item's description is wrong and the mount is NOT included. Just be aware of this.
