One of the original reasons that I got this helmet was because I read a review about it that said it was the only thing that saved a girl's life, and that she was going to get another one as soon as she was back on a bike.

I was in an accident on NYE, and ended up wrecking my bike at about 30 mph, skidding across three lanes of traffic on my face and arm. I broke my elbow and had to have reconstructive surgery - teach me to not wear armor in the cold, but I ended up with only a small bit of bruising on my left cheek where I bounced my head along the pavement for a bit. No broken anything facewise.

I am totally going to get another one, as soon as I am back on a bike.
