All Quiet Slot rotors are finished with a GEOMET coating that protects both the internal and external surfaces from rust and corrosion. I currently have the HAWK LTS brake pads which started squeeking and growning when applying light pressure on the brakes. HAWK support suggested new rotors to solve the noise problem unfortunately the hat size of these rotors is not capatible with my Honda vehicle.
