110/100x18 Maxxis Maxx Cross Desert Intermediate Terrain Tire BMW HONDA HUSABERG KAWASAKI KTM SUZUKI YAMAHA Review

So I had one of these on my XR400 when I got it. Ended up with a large bolt in it and it got ruined.

A local shop sold me a Dunlap rear tire to replace the Maxxis Desert one. This was not a good move. The Maxxis looked better with over twice the riding on it. I ride a lot in the desert around Phoenix and my Dunlop or Dunflop is over half worn out on just around 10 rides.

I will be buying a Maxxis next time. Best desert and rock tire I know of

McGard 65457GD Chrome/Gold SplineDrive Wheel Installation Kit (M12 x 1.5 Thread Size) - For 4 Lug Wheels Review

These lug nuts are awesome. Pretty much world class quality without the downfall of looking "super tuner." If you want that flashy look then go with whatever you're gonna get, but if you want something that doesn't really stand out and offers superior security then McGard is the way to go. I love that every nut is spline drive, which makes them security nuts, but then there's additional security with the one specialty locking nut per wheel. Maybe a little bit more of a pain having to use two keys every time you take a wheel off, but great for security. If you have these lug nuts then a thief would have to man handle off EVERY SINGLE lug nut, not just one per wheel. Plus the spline drive lug nuts have the floating seat which works amazingly well for not scratching the wheels. Not sure why the specialty lock nut doesn't have this feature though.
