ROCKET-RAIL is a new take on mounting accessories to your sport motorcycle. By utilizing the fork bolts, which are a prominent feature on almost all sport motorcycles, the ROCKET-RAIL mates to your bike without modification and in a way that the ROCKET-RAIL actually becomes a structural component of the motorcycle. CNC cut from 1/4" 6061 aluminum plate, the ROCKET-RAIL provides a secure, stable, vibration free mounting platform for a variety of electronics. The ROCKET-RAIL secures to the protruding fork bolts of your bike by a pair of 4-40 Torx screws. Once tightened, the ROCKET-RAIL is secure enough to even allow the lifting of the front end of the bike by the ROCKET-RAIL. The included and standard Phenolic ball is sized for all Garmin GPS mounting brackets. The hardware and design allow for a range of ball mounting options and sizes. Additional space to either side allow the use of any number of third party mounts such as for the GoPro HERO or the ROKFORM iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S3 mounting solutions. No matter what accessories are mounted, full range of steering motion is maintained. I ordered my Rocket Rail a few weeks back and it arrived mid this week. Very smooth transaction, Jim was great!

It really looks great - beautifully made, and it fits like a glove. I installed it and added a 1" Ram mount system that can either have my Contour Roam on it or replace the camera tripod ball mount and put a holder for my iPhone on it so I can use the GPS.

Very happy camper. Only niggles: I wish the Torx key had the head on the short end of the "L" and not the long end. Still easy to use, but would be easier...but pffft, I'm just whining.

I guess the real issue I have, is that I am hopefully trading up to a 500R...and I want a Rocket Rail for that!
