Dorman 520-550 Control Arm Review

I purchased the lower control arms for the left and right side of my Volvo. The Volvo dealer sells this at $280 for each side. I saved $200/each ($400 savings) for this OEM replacement parts. I paid $88 for each arm and $30 for expedited shipping and the 2 parts came in 2 days - one by FEDEX and the other by UPS. I recommend this for all.

Only problem was to find a repair facility to install the arms. You might need to ask around - a brake and alignment specialist is reasonable. Firestone and Goodyear will not install parts that are not bought through them.

I was amazed that Amazon sells this Volvo part, BRAVO.

This was the best choice I ever made.

White MaxTow 35 PSI Boost Gauge Review

The gauge is really nice to look at but it is slow to respond to changes in boost pressure. I don't understand why. I can feel the turbo before the gauge starts to climb. But still it is a really nice looking well made gauge. I put the gauge in my 2008 Mini Cooper JCW. I believe the gauge was meant for trucks but that doesn't really matter.

Kolpin Teryx Center Console Review

I bought this item with the hope to add more storage in my 2010 Kawasaki Teryx. I opened the box lifted the top of the console and saw that it only had about 2 inches of storage. What could I put in there? At that moment I closed the boxed taped it shut and sent it back. it is impossible to think that someone thought that this was a good idea to put into production. Unless it was a 20 dollar item then maybe I would recommend it but not for the price they are charging.

Rancho RS999145 RS9000XL Series Shock Review

I use these on a '93 Toyota pickup with stiffer springs/bars than stock. I had a lot of problems finding a shock to control the heavy duty springs, so I tried these because they were adjustable. A couple clicks off full stiff and the damping fell right in place. I can put 1,500 lbs of concrete bags in that little pickup and it rides like a Cadillac. Unloaded it is very stiff, but not bouncy, the shocks keep the springs from pogoing when unloaded. Just what I was looking for and at a reasonable price.

Dorman 520-549 Control Arm Review

Guess it's my fault or maybe it's the vendor's. In 2007 the V70/S60 came with eitheir steel control arms or aluminum arms. THESE ARE NOT INTERCHANGABLE! The ball joints are different and the angle to which the arm comes to the ball joint is different also. I guess I could've looked before I ordered, but I took the word from Amazon that it would fit.
Also, the price was too good to pass up.
