Just picked up a 2013 Impreza 2.0i. After a bit of research I found that these speakers DO fit the 2013 models and that the install itself is a very simple process. (about 20min for me)

The addition of these speakers will add top-end (5-15k) which is good. But they have the added benefit of smoothing out the high-mid (2.5k-5k) that, in my opinion was a bit honky with just the 4 door-mounted speakers.

It's worth noting that the head unit in the 2013 Impreza is not pleasing to the ear when "zeroed out" to the factory defaults: Bass = 0dB, Mid = 0dB, Treble = 0dB. There is far to much low-end and midrange for comfortable, extended listening. With the additional tweeters installed I suggest the following settings as a more realistic starting point: Bass = -3dB, Mid = -4dB, Treble = +2dB. Without the tweeters you'll need to push the Treble to +5 or +6dB and cut the Mid to -4 or -5dB

Frequency adjustments, much like music taste, is completely subjective. As such, you should find what works best for your ears, and your preferred music genre(s).

Additionally, I've been quite impressed by their smoothness when pushed. Not brittle, not too warm. And they seem to handle these higher volumes pleasantly.

You should consider this addition if you are more than the casual listener and want more clarity and definition out of your Impreza's stock system. Personally, I think it's a no-brainer for $80.
