I have a 2007 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob and this part fit it exactly. The Spike was $115. It allows at least twice as much air into the engine as a stock filter.

My order was shipped all the way across the county in less than a week after I ordered it so five stars for that. Everything received was exactly like it was pictured so five stars for that. The fit and finish of the adapter and the chrome finish is excellent so five stars for that.

The parts that come included two items that look like pistons. Those things are breather filters. The two breather hoses that come from the valve covers and attache to the stock filter are removed and the bolts in the valve covers are removed.

Hollow bolts replace the hoses. There are spacers around the hollow bolt which slide on either side of the piston breather filter which has a port in the "wrist" area that mates up to the port in the hollow bolt. Confused? Me too. I emailed them and got this response a day later.... "Hello,

The video is for a Honda and uses mostly different parts so it's worthless.

The order in which I put them on is as follow ....starting from the breather hole on the valve cover..

Large Washer,
Fiberglass washer
Larger Spacer
Fiberglass washer
Breather Filter
Fiberglass washer
Smaller Spacer
Fiberglass Washer
Adapter Plate
Locator shim
Bolt through all of it into the Valve Cover

The spacers are different widths and one spacer has a larger hole in it. I'm not real sure if that is where all those fiberglass washers go and where that large steel washer goes but it all seems to fit up nice and snug to the throttle body AND to the breather holes in the head. Those breather hole bolts also mate up to the throttle body adapter plate and add strength to the system. Nice design and all the holes line up exactly as they should showing some excellent machining and engineering. All the parts were high quality and fit but who knows exactly where they go for sure.

But.....Not sure if that helps but I'm trying to offer more information than normal... BECAUSE.....

There was NO paperwork included in the box. No parts list, no instructions, no diagrams, not even a receipt of purchase. These guys must be ex-army because only a soldier could hate paperwork that much that they refuse inform the customer of even the most basic information..... 1 star for that.

Next issue was the cone filter. It didn't fit snug against the base and just rattled around inside the Spike. There is normally a clamp to keep a filter in place and prevent dirty air from leaking past the seal. I had to come up with a way to make sure dirty air didn't get in before I could mount it. I used some foam in the tip of the Spike to force the cone filter against the base and some RTV to seal the base of the filter to the Spike. One star for that because it could be REAL serious to have dirty air getting in.

There also needs to be a gasket between the adapter plate and the spike as well for sealing up those two surfaces but none is includes. I used RTV sealant there too. Two stars for that for the same reason but it's less likely to be a problem for most people.

I don't know if this review is worth anything to you but I sure wish someone had written it up prior to me buying it. I most likely would still buy it because of the excellent fit of the adapter plate. The looks are just "ok" but it works as advertised which is most important to me.

Three stars overall. Could be more with a little work. Dump the chrome tip to get the raw intake look and sell it for $100 with a dust/rain cover and you'd sell a ton of them.
