Do not buy this bracket if you plan on leaving motor attached while intransit. First thing you will see upon opening box is a warning sticker recommending you pull motor off while trailering boat! This would have been great to know prior to purchase. I reinforced it with a heavy gauge plate and replaced the iffy hardware with stronger bolts to achieve my goal. No luck, after the warning I didn't trust it to support my expensive kicker motor on our rough roads up to the lake. Now it sits on my shelf collecting dust...Had to go another route. If your setup allows you to pull your outboard off the bracket while trailering this product should work well for you.
