The Xtreme Charge 12 - volt Battery Charger is the best charger I have owned and I have had many over the past 45 years! I have owned this charger for over two (2) years and it works flawlessly. I charge batteries for my truck, car, boat, motorcycle, two (2) riding lawnmowers and deep cycle batteries for my RV. This charger has LED indicator lights giving you current charging status of your battery. As it charges... the charger sends pulse waves through the battery that cleans the plates in the battery. The cleaning of the plates adds longevity to the battery. I have had very expensive battery chargers that were suppose to shut off when the battery was fully charged. I had a battery that was a few years old... the plates were slightly corroded and the battery would not completely charge. So, my new charger (now old)kept charging until the battery got so hot it warped the plates inside the battery and started melting the top of the battery! That is when I began to shop for another charger and found the Extreme Battery Charger.
