Rancho� �s new RS9000XL shock absorbers feature adjustable damping with either a 2.75- or 2.38-in. diameter reserve tube. This massive shock body allows the RS9000XL to run cooler and more consistent even under the most demanding towing conditions, enhancing performance and durability, and is constructed with a larger than typical 18-mm diameter chromed piston rod. Rancho RS9000XL shock series are engineered with nine position tuning technology that provides nine different levels of shock performance. These premium shocks also have polyurethane bushings that enhance shock performance and durability along with a boot that protects the shock rod and oil seal.

The timing of getting this review request is amazing. I installed two shocks for the front of my wheels about three weeks ago. While I was driving today, I went over a speed bump at a low speed and noticed that front end of my truck behaved erracticly and harshly. When I stopped to take a look, I noticed that one of the shocks was cock-eyed. I drove slowly the rest of the way home noticing that there was no suspension compression on the affected side. When I jacked up my truck and took out the shock, it came out in two pieces!

In addition to this, the shocks didn't come with any instructions, and I had to quesstimate on the proper torque of the top nut and the lower mounting bolt. When I tried to download the manual from the Rancho website, it wouldn't recognize the part number, no matter what iteration I used to type it in.

Finally the threads were so heavily coated with overspray from the painting of the tubes, I had to remove it once during installation and clean those up. I have been working on all my vehicles for more than two decades, and I can't remember any part I installed that failed in this type of spectacular fashion.

I purchased these shocks because of the great reputation they carry. I'm willing to give this one more shot, and I hope the next shock I get works the way it is supposed to! If it does, I'll update and revise this review.

  I purchased these for a Jeep CJ5and I had two concerns. I wanted to make sure the taillights would light up the license plate and I wanted them to be easy to wire. They do light up the licence plate but that because both the right and left are the same and both have a light on the bottom for that purpose. The wiring wasn't as plug and play as the originals. No plug on these lights. Just a simple matter of wiring it up though. They are VERY bright. The backup lights are about as bright as my headlights. For the price they are the best way to upgrade to LEDs on a CJ. Make sure to keep in mind you may need to upgrade your blinker flasher though. The originals are not designed to use LEDs.

Bosch 15138 Oxygen Sensor, OE Type Fitment Review

Not much to say about this O2 sensor. It works fine as a plug and play replacement O2 sensor for my BMW M3 E46. It's been a couple of months and it works. No more error codes. This is a great alternative to the more expensive OEM sensors.

These mats are really awesome. My husband works on an Island in VA and when it rains things get muddy and very sandy. What we love about these mats is that there is a lip around the back part of the mat that catches the dirt and sand before it gets under the seat, they easily slip in and out and you can hose theme off. The original mats were flat carpet and always bunched up under your feet even on the passenger side. He was really happy with his gift. I recommend this product.
