  I purchased these for a Jeep CJ5and I had two concerns. I wanted to make sure the taillights would light up the license plate and I wanted them to be easy to wire. They do light up the licence plate but that because both the right and left are the same and both have a light on the bottom for that purpose. The wiring wasn't as plug and play as the originals. No plug on these lights. Just a simple matter of wiring it up though. They are VERY bright. The backup lights are about as bright as my headlights. For the price they are the best way to upgrade to LEDs on a CJ. Make sure to keep in mind you may need to upgrade your blinker flasher though. The originals are not designed to use LEDs.
