This one works the same as the original! 2004 pontiac grand prix. Take cap of door handle pull, there's 2-#10 bolts you'll need long thin deep-well socket. Then pop door panel off(be careful with door lock knob), disconnect wire harness. I pushed my window all the way up into grove so it'd stay up, then loosened 2 clamp bolts at bottom of window connected to regulator slide(then you may want to move window back down so it doesn't fall), then If I remember right you'll need to loosen 2 bolts on regulator and remove another that holds the whole regulator to door and the regulator/motor will slide out through hole in the door. Slide the new one in and tighten all bolts on regulator and you should be able to tell on window where old clamps were to tighten up new ones in same place. Connect harness (make sure new one works first), pop door panel back on and tighten 2 #10's and should be good. This is a pretty easy job and I've had no problems with motor/ regulator. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Dorman 748-266 Rear Driver Side Replacement Power Window Regulator with Motor for Pontiac Grand Prix" are high quality item.
