Walker 250-25035 5-Wire Wideband Sensor Review

My engine emissions engine service light keep coming on every three or four months but would go away after three days. I own a 2006 VW TDI diesel with a Van Anken piggy back fuel pressure booster which gives 25hp and 30ft more of torque and increases your mpg by 5.

The added fuel pressure would temporarily flood the 02 sensor if I throttled too hard, over the months and the engine service light would come on, but would burn off and the service would turn off in two or three days. Then I started to notice that my fuel economy was dropping off from 42 mpg down to 34 after 6 years of having the Van Aken booster. What was happening was the 02 sensor was now slightly defective and remaining in the rich position adding more fuel during normal operation. After doing a code read out I removed and cleaned the 02 sensor and my mileage went back up to 38 mpg. But I was getting as high as 46. So I replaced the sensor with this perfect fitting Walker and I'm flying high back in the 40's. Go Walker!!!
