Although the original intent of this product is to keep cars and trucks cooler in the summer, I am using the California PopTop in the heart of the midwest so that I don't have to scrape frost and ice off of my car windows. I work 12-hour shifts overnight and every morning we all have to either scrape the frost and ice off of our windows or let the car run and let the defroster do the dirty work.

Not anymore! I just slip the California PopTop on in about 2 minutes when I park my car and then slip it back off when I get off of work in the morning. Recently we had freezing rain for several hours overnight. While my coworkers were struggling to clear their windows I just slipped my California PopTop off, shook off the 1/4 inch of ice that had accumulated, tossed it in the trunk and drove off. My coworkers kind of gave me a hard time when I bought this item for my car, they are not laughing anymore.
