The taillight fit like a glove. Looks exactly like the original part. Quite easy to replace- took about 10 minutes. You will need a a star screwdriver.
Steps for replacing ( make sure the car is turned off)
1. Open the back hatch/door of the Honda CRV. 3 screws on the side hold up the taillight .
2. Unscrew these and carefully expose the back side of the taillight . You will see wires coming from the car's electric system
3. take off one more screw that keeps the taillight connector in place
4. Loosen the 3 bulbs carefully with a quarter turn .
No need to take off the bulbs or unplug the connector. Unhook wires if any have been attached to little hooks in the plastic assembly.
5. Reverse the steps and fit the taillight back
6. Check all lights work. DONE
